Help needed

Dear All,
I am sarvnaa, Indian guy, working in germany.

as a part of my job, i have to fly to London.

Two weeks before i applied for visa in dusseldorf. i submitted all my documents(original) with my passport.

as only a week is left for xmas holidays, i am tentaviely need of my passport back.

when i tried to check my visa status online i am getting a msg
* under consideration at post*

for past 1 week, i am getting the same status.

so when will i get visa?..how long i have to wait?
