HELP NEEDED WITH IMMINENT SPOUSE VIS APP

Post by vicki35 » Mon Sep 08, 2014 1:03 am

OK me and my husband are preparing to submit his spouse visa application in the next few weeks.
We live in Dubai and I am going back to the UK next month with a job offer.
I have worked here over a year.

The problem is I cant find the 1st of a 6 month sequence of my payslips. I have all the bank statements and a salary history letter with the salary received each month.
We have all other documents this is the only thing I am missing. HR are refusing to give me a duplicate payslip.

I fear we may be refused for missing this 1 crucial payslip.
Please help.

Unfortunately - that is the way it works. It's a check-list type mentality - if the evidence isn't there - it's a refusal.

I would press your HR department for a duplicate and if you truly cannot get one then you have two options: 1) Remain an additional month to get the payslip and use those 6 months or 2) Apply and explain in a covering letter than you know the slip is missing, that your company refused to give a replacement (get them to write a letter to this effect) and you are enclosing the employment letter and the bank statement which shows the consistent payment with the other 5 slips.

Thank you, yes I am gonna beg the HR a bit more yet.
But I did think I would add a letter with the salary breakdown across the year and bank statements with a letter from HR assuring them that I was working and paid for that month.
I hope they don't refuse on the basis all the other evidence is there and that I do meet the financial requirement.
Never been so stressed and worried in my life.
