HELP PLS Urgent.! Applying for Evisa but my Brp expired 1year and 2 months ago

I am helping my uncle switching to Evisa. I went to the Gov's website and was trying to create a UKVI account using his expired BRR, but because it was expired more than 1 year ago, its not useable to create account (he doesnt have a passport but has granted ILR), and since the HO stopped issuing BRP card after October 2024, he cannot apply for a new card now, although it would still be too late for him because deadline to switch to evisa is end of Dec 2024. Please anyone have knowledge on this could advise me on what to do. He is quite old and some of his friends told him last year that by end of 2024 his BRP ID would be useless and all switching to evisa so he thought no need to renew his BRP card (very silly). He is so stress right now with fear and anxious. I really wanna help him! If any of u guys could give me some advises I would be so appreciate

Looks like a limbo. Maybe try to make NTL application with a cover letter explaining that you need new eVisa account because your BRP expired and cannot be used to create an eVisa account.

Your uncle needs to apply for a NTL - will need to provide as much proof as possible to show he has ILR and not lost it over the years. How was he granted ILR? Does he still have the letter, how was he granted ILR without a passport?
