Help required in filling MN1 form

Post by kapasi » Mon Mar 03, 2014 6:55 pm

Hi,

I have gone through the FAQ section listed but I am still bit confused and need to be 100% sure so I do apologies if this question has been asked earlier.

I have got two daughters who were born in Pakistan (age 9, 6). My son was born in UK in Dec 2012. When I applied for my ILR in March 2013 I applied for my son as well so currently all 3 kids are on ILR. I am planning to apply for the whole family for British Citizenship and want to confirm following.

1. Can I apply for all 3 kids using MN1 form.
2. Do they all fall under Section 1(3)
3. After submitting the application. Can I travel using my current passport and ILR card (I am assuming that I will be given both these document back after taking the copies by NCS Service)

Thanks

1. Yes. One MN1 form per child.
2. No.
3. Yes, but probably best to wait a few days until after the Home Office has received the applications.

Thanks Vinay,

For Question 2. What section I should fill for:
kids born outside uk but have got ILR status
kids born in uk but have got ILR status

I am planning to travel after approx. 1 month of submitting the application so hopefully that should be ok. Right?

I suggest you check the FAQ (check link below). Scroll down for the children section.
