Help!--Is Statutory Sick Pay in "Public funds"

I have been sick for a few weeks so I have to go for a Statutory Sick Pay. But I am not sure if that belongs to "Public funds"?

If I apply it, will it affect my PR application in future?

Please do give me some advise, thanks a lot!

It is normal and natural to fall sick - so there are no problems in you getting SSP
Where there is a will there is a way.
