Help with Sponsor Management System

Post by tckraju » Thu Jan 05, 2012 8:11 pm

Hi Gurus,

I am wondering if anyone can help me.

My Company is an A-Rated Sponsor with aa UCOS allocation of 1.
I am switching from PSW to Tier-2 General.I have been working for the same employer for more than 1 year and also meet the salary criteria.
An un-restricted COS has been issued to me on 22nd NOV 2011. I have applied for the Tier-2 (General) VISA on 1st DEC 2011.

After the COS has been allocated, my sponsor has also received an email stating that the UCOS limit has been reached. I am due for my bio-metrics on 9th JAN 2012.

In the mean while my employer has tried to view the status of my COS in SMS.

This page had 7 columns.
Number, Status,Family Name,Given Name,Date Of Birth,Nationality,Tier and Category

It also has two rows showing two entries.
1.) First row has nothing under number and 'Work in Progress' under Status. (All the other columns have the right information)
2.) Second row has COS number under number and 'Assigned' under Status. (All the other columns have the right information)

Can anyone please let me know if this is right?
I know that I am thinking too much but any advise would be highly appreciated.

Not sure about the "work in progress" status, Could be that when your level1 user tried to assign you the COS he/she stopped half way through. If you don't complete the COS Assignment it gets saved as a "draft" I'm not sure but thats what I think,

As for the "assigned" this is your COS. If you check the COS (number) it should be the one you used in your application. Just make sure this and its all good.

Thanks madona587,

Your reply has definitely relieved me.
I know that my sponsor did not fill the COS information for the first time and left it half way through. Hence, the row with the blank COS number would answer the question.
The second row was when the COS has been issued and hence the number.
This explains what has happened.

Thanks a lot
Regards

This happened to me as well, The funny thing is the SMS is so buggy that you can't "resume" a drafted application. You have to create a new session.

Anyway keep an eye on this status. When this status turns "used" thats when you know your application has been processed. You can expect a reply within days. Good luck man.
