Help with BC

I want to know if I need to apply for BC or wait. Details of Immigration status can be seen below:

2005 - came to uk illegally
2008 - Applied for residence under EEA member
2010 - Got married to British citizen( currently, i have British citizen children's )
2011 - Discretionary DLR was granted using SET-O form
2018 - ILR was granted under the same circumstance

I was told by a friend that I need to wait till 2021 before I can apply for citizenship, please confirm if is true.

If you only became a lawful resident in 2011, then you must wait until at least 10 years has passed from that date
