WP holder planning to extend visa

Post by gerard820 » Sat Apr 16, 2011 4:14 pm

hi moderators,

My apology for many questions. My wife is planning to extend her visa since she has gap and dont want to risk the ILR and besides, her home is giving option if she want to extend her visa. She is on 5 year WP and her visa will run out on 8/9/11. She still works the same company for almost 5 years now as a senior carer. my qustion is.

1. Can she applied on a transitional arrangement under tier 2?
2. What form she is going to use? is it Set-O?

thanks.[/i]

What's her gap? When did she enter the UK?

Hi vinny,

WP holder-5 years continues stay. same employeer until now
EC 8/9/06
Arrive 23/10/06
expire 8/9/11

we are considering our option for extension because she is afraid to risk her ILR. and also want to ask about this "salary issue" if old work permit holder will be affected as well because her salary is below the SOC code shown in the UKBA website in senior carer salary code? thanks for looking.

SET (O) form is for settlement application.
