My partner is from new zealand, and for the past 4 years he has been coming to the uk on a skilled work permit for 3 months (end of may - august) he is a sheep shearer.
This year is different. He is here at the moment on a 6 month holiday visa, arrived 2nd December. Now, our problem is that he does not want to miss the shearing season here. Please may you advise us on what to do. We were thinking that he should leave end of this month (February) and then come back at the end of may with his skilled work permit. Would this work?
