Home Office / UKBA Holiday hours

Hi all,

I applied for my ILR back on Oct 09, but still haven't received any notice that the application has been completed (though I did get a request for biometrics on Nov 2 which I did).

Given that they have my passport, I have pretty much written off heading back to see my family for the holidays, but thought in would final glimmer of hope, someone here might know if the Home Office is still processing applications (and until when)?

I would imagine most of the workers have taken leave by now...just curious if anyone had any solid dates as to when they open / close for the holidays?

ILR applications do take plenty of time. IMO, the verification & other stuff only start after they get your biometrics. I would give it atleast 3-4 months in total before I start wondering what is going on.
