House sharing

Hi

it would be a real help, if somebody could help me in understanding the pros and cons of house sharing.

What all should i keep in mind while house sharing, in terms of documentations.

If i am renting a double bedroom in a shared house, does the landlord enter into a written agreement or do they just give a reciept?

Since i will not be getting any utility bills in my name , is that a problem ?

Do i need to give an address proof while applying for my daughters admission ? what woule taht proof be in case of house sharing

4) Yes, proof that the accomodation is suitable. If you're renting 1 double room then i very much doubt that that is suitable accomodation as the daughter(s) would be sharing the same room as you.

As meat said above I do agree with him. And just would add that you can always ask your landloard to provide you an agreement stating what kind of bills are included within your agreement. Also suitability of accomodation entirely falls into the type of application you are making.

No idea i've never had to deal with school authorities but no i don't think they would. They tend to only get involved if the kid is showing signs of being abused at home etc. It will be the ECO dealing with suitability of accomodation when you apply for her visa.

I have never been asked such question for my doughter in her school. However, if any of your neighbours complains to local authority for over crowding then they may step in. It happend to my next door. Where atleast 20 people were living in a three bed house and were very noisey. Some one complaint and local authority sent a notice to their landlord. All the neighbours were interviewed by local authority to confirm this. Premises were vacent in one week.
