how accomodation by employer gets counted in tier 2 general

Post by esal » Tue Dec 01, 2009 10:30 pm

hi folks,

here is my situation.
I have a pakage of 19k n working as web admin. my employer has given me accomodatino as kind in benefit to look my pakage as 24k ( they said I stay anywhere i will be paying extra 6k ).

but the fact is my pakage is 19k and I am paying subsidized rent from salary ...

for tier 2 for my role salary needed is 28 .. so employer thinking to give me some other job title to make salary to 24k ...

am I going to get the visa (with 19k pakage) and subsidised rented accomodation?

tier 2 rules say if u have accomodation from company they do count it .. but how I am not able to figure out ...

Also plz advise the list of documents
1) switching from PSW(fresh talent scotland scheme)
2) done masters from uk
3) have 800 pounds for maintenance and 550 for dependent

thanking in the anticipation of some wise advise from seniors or from experience ..

There is a space when they issue the CoS for them to state your salary and any other employment benefits. If for instance they stated a benefit of £6000 and explained that this was accommodation, then UKBA usually accept that (I believe). Perhaps others have specific experience?
