How correct are these SLA's

Post by isha123 » Wed May 04, 2011 5:51 am

Hi All,

I read another topic regarding the explanation of status of application when it is submitted..My babys application is under progress since 18th April. I wrote to VFS Delhi and they say refer to SLAs. As per SLA they do 80% applications within 10 days but we were not lucky to get our application done..I am now wondering how much more time they can take as I am running out of babys milk and important medicines which I brought along from UK. Can we contact anybody for early review of our application..Please advice..

If the time line exceeds those given the customer service standards, then you can make a formal complaint to the relevant BHC and expect the complaint to be looked into.

Nothing stops you from submitting a formal complaint before that but it is unlikely that a complaint submitted before CSS target is exceeded will be looked into.

I suspect that this information is taken from Guide to visa processing times.
If so, it is not an SLA but only statistical information compiled on the basis of applications submitted in a (specified) given month.

Thanks for prompt reply..I did take the 80% figure by referring to their guidelines..Will wait for few more days or else will make a complaint..
