how to get fee refund before course commencement?

hi
i want to know how to get the fee refund before course commencement?
actually problem is i got the visa under tier 4 and i travelled to uk on 21 dec and came back on 23 dec cos of some family problem and now i dont want to go and study and i also informed the college on 24th dec and they are requesting my refusal letter for fee refund..

so please tell me how to get my money back(6150 pounds)?

can i go to uk immigration and get my visa cancelled from them.is it possible?

pls reply as soon as possible..

If it is a private college then you must be dreaming. But if it is a Uni then you might have a chance but not 100%.
