How to go home?

Can anyone help?
A friend of mine has been living in spain since he was about 12. He went to spain legally and has a residence card and is completely legal there.

He came to the UK a few months ago because of some problems he had in spain. He entered the country illegally and now wants to go back to spain.

Does anyone have any idea about how he would go about doing that? Where would he go/ who should he talk to about going back to spain?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

but would he face any bans because hes only a resident and woudve needed a visa to come into the uk even thoe he can travel freely around europe.

would he be able to leave with his residency card?

He has Mroccan nationatliy but spanish residency. He enetered the uk on a lorry.

If his Spanish card is genuine and valid, he would probably be allowed to embark for Spain, although if encountered by an IO on embarcation he might be served with a notice of illegal entry before he goes.

He would probably be best advised to get a direct flight or ferry to Spain, as there's just a chance the French would not be happy to let him in.
