How important section 3 C - FOR PRE NOV 2006 CASES

hi all,
just wondering if u put ur views on PRE NOV., 2006 cases.

As we all know that we won the case and while submitting an application we have to sent a copy of JR. But i have a question ...so Do we have to fill section 3 C as this section is also points based and as per JR..we should be concluded on the basis of economical active......
My opinion is not to fill and i did that while sending my application...
But need some discuss on this...Am i right or not?

I am posting my application along with dependants tomm 23rd June 08 (visa expires 27th june 2008).

SinceI too fall pre nov 2006 category...i was and am equally confused on this. Legally speaking we should not be filling it. But since there is no other form available what I have done is: fill section 3C and put in the points I am getting 55.

However, in the covering letter I have CLEARLY MENTIONED I AM NOT CLAIMING ANY POINTS AND WANT TO TREATED ON ECONOMIC ACTIVITY INLIGHT OF HSMP JR...but am filling the form as there is no other option.


when did u send ur app and when is the expiry?

i dont think that u should fill sec 3 c n specially if u r below 75...s what i think it might hit to their eyes.....if it was exceeding that i dont think there is ne harm..otherwise dont fill sec 3 at all n put the covering letter with JR conclusion...
but still i will invite others to put their views...

I sent my application a week before my visa expires.

Hi,

Well u r quite right...but since I have already got my pack ready I will go with it. I don't think it will make any difference if or if not we fill section 3C. As long as our covering letter states clearly that we do not wish to claim any points and wish extension under old scheme...it shld be fine...In any case they can't refuse our application.

Even if i get less points....they will have to consider it under old rules or else contempt of court!!!Also since there is no updation as of today...we can fill T1 form whichever way we want.....wat u say?
