How long dependent can stay outside uk

HI
How long dependents can stay outside uk and if they stay say 6 months+ what problems they can face coming back having valid visa(PSw visa).
Is there any issue of TB screening.
They had TB certificate when they first came here and stayed 18 months here.

best thing to do is ask ukba yourself. on telephone and on email.... much better on email as you will have written proof of whatever they say otherwise telephone is your best bet.
