How long for AOR?

Hi, first post here, I applied using the new simplified process to London mid October, just wondering how long I should wait to receive the AOR as I hear some people get theirs within a week/month?

Hello listener,

Welcome aboard.

I dont know ANY body getting a visa IN A WEEK. Normal time mentioned on UK website is 45 months.

The other classes of immigrants like spouse, family, PNP etc can be processed in as little as 6 months.

AOR is just Acknowledgement of Receipt, not the visa itself!
