How many days notice is given for interview?

Dear members and gurus!

I hope you all are enjoying good health.

I am asking this question on behalf of my friend who despite numerous attempts couldn’t sign up this forum.

My friend had applied for tier 1 Entrepreneur extension in April this year but didn’t get any response apart from complex letter.

How many days notice is given to the applicant for on-site interview? and how does the caseworker contact the applicant? By phon, email, or letter?

Please share your experience so that he could have an idea.

If you search this forum for interviews, you will find that people have been contacted by all of the three methods. There is also no specific notice period - HO can even turn up unannounced if they want to. But typically, they would offer a date and you can negotiate
