1. How much duration (minimum) of dependent visa is required to get a permanent job in UK ?

I am an indian software consultant in UK on work permit of 1 year.
My wife is coming to UK in Nov this year. She is having 1.5 years of experience as .Net developer (c#, vb.net, asp.net, sql).

2. what are the her chances of getting job as permi or contractor ?

Please advise.
