How old can the submitted documents be? ILR Set(O) app

Post by Vergo777 » Mon Jul 12, 2021 9:05 pm

Hi, I'm planning to apply for my ILR Set(O) application soon through the 5 year route. I received the supporting letter from my current employer on 25th June, but unfortunately facing some delays in getting a letter of absences from my previous employer so I'm blocked from submitting until that comes through.

I know that the application explicitly says that for payslip and bank statement, "The last payslip and statement must be dated no earlier than one calendar month before the date of the application"

What is the guidance for the employer letter and other similar documents however? Assuming I apply online tomorrow (13th July), would the employer letter of 25th June be too old? Or is the letter also OK as long as it's within one calendar month?

Also to confirm, by one calendar month here do they mean the document needs to be dated 13th June or later (assuming application is made on 13th July)?

Thanks!

It simply has to be recent. There is no specific requirement
