how to provide evidence of relationship in HSMP

Post by Michael Yao » Fri Jan 14, 2005 5:22 am

Dear,

How to understand the words"if you are applying as a married couple you must supply a marriage certificate/ license puls three items of correspendence of the kind or from the sources which have been addressed to you and your spouse over the past two years, and which clearly show that you have been living together at the same address. If you have not received any such correspondence that is addressed to you both, jointly, it is acceptable to provide two items addressed to one of you and one item addressed to the other partner so long as the show the same address."

Should the correspendance be successive and abundant, not single over the past two years?

If I don't have such correspendance that is addressed to both, it means whether I should provide six items of correspendance in total.

Thanks so much for solving.

Best wishes

Michael Yao

No it should not be 6 items...... it will still remain 3. The correspondance can be in breaks but atleast 2 years backe dated with same address for both of you. and to add some more proof also send some latest at the same address..

This can be obtained from.........

1. bank statements (joint accounts.singlr)
2.Fixed deposits.
3. utility bills (electricity, water, gas, telephone.....etc)
4. life insurance policy (better to have spouse as nominee)
etc...

i hope it helps.
