** Have worked in London for the past 10 months for a UK Company (with a WHV)

------------------------------------------------------------

- Summary of income (prepared by myself)

------------------------------------------------------------
100 total points
------------------------------------------------------------

I may have to apply for a HSMP Visa in April and need some quick clarity on my application. I want to make sure I have all the necessary paperwork in place now, so I can easily submit my application in April.

- The above is the documents I will be providing. Can anyone see any issues with this list?

- Does my UK experience count towards my application?

- I cannot provide an Income Tax Return (because I started working during this financial year). What can I do?

- I have based my salary on the gross income I have received over the past 10 months. I have worked for most of the 10 months, except for a couple of weeks. Regardless I will have sufficient income to get enough points. Any issues I need to be aware of?

- My pay structure is a bit complicated - I work for a large UK company. They pay my limited company management who pay me a salary. What paperwork do I need to provide to best confirm my salary?

- Can someone explain what happens to my passport? When do I send it in? How long will I be without a passport?

- I will be travelling in late May and will also be close to my 12 months of allowed work under the WHV. How can I get my application marked urgent? Will be close to exceeding my WHV 12 month work allowance be a valid reason?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

It looks as if I wil need to apply for the HSMP now. I have read further into the application and have answered most of my own questions. I am still unsure about justifying my income through my limited company structure...

I started working in May 06 - so have no tax return. What evidence should I provide to justify income?

I have:
- Pay slips from Agency
- Pay slips from Limited Company
- Bank Statements
- Summary of income created by myself
- Agencyemployment contract

Any advice?

My first language is English (born in Australia) and I have attained school and university qualifications from Australian insitutions - including a major Australian University.

What evidence do I need to supply to meet the language requirements?

I can attain a summary of income from my limited company and/or agency.

How do I get a P60 - and do I need it?

Thanks for the responses!

That's the biggest mistake you will do.

second apply4hsmp's guidance re: english requirement.

i am american. went to uni in the US. i needed a letter from my uni stating that my coursework was in english. if you don't have this, it dosen't matter if you have 120 points, you will be rejected.

as for P60. it's a summary of your earnings. you get it for each tax year... shoudl be getting yours around april-may 07. will cover 5-apr-06 thru 4-apr-07. when are you applying?

Wow, talk about overkill. I have contacted my University to provide me with a letter stating my course was in English.

Re: Income Statement

I want to submit my application before April. I understand there may be an increase in fees effective from sometime in April. This will mean I will have no tax return.

I plan to get an income statement from my limited company. I can provide bank statements, pay slips and employment contract details. Hope this is sufficient to justify my earnings...

Re: University Degree equivelant to a UK degree...

Do I need to do the whole NARIC thing? My degree is internationally recognised...

Re: Completing the form...

Can I fill in the form electronically - ie type in all my info into the form. I know the form is locked, but I have unlocked it and can type my details in.

This is becoming an administrative nightmare...

Okay - Well finally after a month I have most of the paperwork I need. I have listed the documentation I will be submitting. Hopefully it is all accepted!

My only concern lies with the previous earnings section. I really am unsure of my employment type (salaried, independent contractor or self employed).

For the purposes of the application I will be presenting myself as salaried employed by my agency, paid to a limited company, contracted to a European company. I am provided all paperwork to support salaried and contractor. The bank statements and agency letter clearly explain I am employed and earning x pounds...

Also, in March I completed a HSMP application form. I know things changed after April 1. Can I still submit the March form?

I need this approved ASAP. How can I get this processed quickly? I have completed a urgent treatment form however do not yet have a reference number. Can I submit this with my HSMP application?

Am I forgetting anything?

Help!

Thanks!

 :D
