HSMP - DEPENDENT AGE EXCEEDING 18 WHILE IN UK

As per HSMP guidelines children under 18 get EC alongwith main applicant.
Later on there can be two stuations:

1. Chlid age exceeds 18 before extension of HSMP (FLR)
2. Chid age exceed 18 before ILR

What would be child legal position for FLR and ILR?
