HSMP Dependent Visa

Post by ukbelfast » Sat Aug 23, 2008 9:34 pm

Hi,
I intend to apply for my wife's dependent visa and seek your advice on the documentation required and the funds required in the bank account in the UK for a successful application. The funds i showed in India for my HSMP application are untouched. I have a full time job here put it pays only 1000 pounds a month. Please advice if on this payslip, would i be able to apply for my wife's HSMP dependent visa application

If your HSMP Entry Clearance (visa) was issued in India and before 01-Apr-08, then reading this and this will help. But if your HSMP visa was issued after 01-Apr-08 (in India), then your wife will have to make a dependent application as per Tier 1 (dependent) guidelines using the VAF10 form.

Check with VFS India directly for updated and accurate information regarding application procedures.

Hi,
Thanks for the update. I got my visa stamped before april 08 entitling me to the 2 year visa. I request your advice on what documents would be needed for my wife to apply for dependent visa from India. What are the documents i will need to send from the UK and minimum funds required in the UK bank account for a successful application. Your advice will benefit me immensly.

Regards

Link has already been provided which would help you understand the documentary evidence needed. Alternatively, make an effort to [urlhttp://www.immigrationboards.com/search.php]search[/url] the forum as there is loads of information regarding documentary evidence for dependent applications.

Do check with BHC / VFS India for updated and accurate information.
