HSMP Dependent Visa - What Documents Req.

Hi :roll:

story in a nutshell :

Been in uk as student - got HSMP visa in UK 2007, my husband applied a work permit EC( 2006) from chennai refused twice on the grounds of the ingenuity of the employer in UK - no appeal was made, most imp it was not stated in the application- i was here in the UK studying.
My query is that if i applied for the HSMP dependent EC will it be refused on these grounds, what doc shld i attach to get his EC smooth. Pls help.. in a big Dilemma !!!!!?????
I am in a BIG TIME MESS...although i have MY HSMP VISA.pls HELP SOS

if u have HSMP visa then apply for HSMP EC. Why are u applying for dependent visa?

cheers mate....i am already in the UK - i got 2 years HSMP visa,
EC is for my husband who is in Chennai, i want to apply for dependent visa but the problm is that he applied for work permit in 2006 but was refused twice and in the application he did not mention i am in the UK studying in 2006.
so my query - is it goin to be a big time mess for me to apply EC for him to join me in the UK.

i am not very sure on this but what i think is that your husband can apply for HSMP dependent EC. For the previous work permit refusals he should mention only the reason he would have received in written form and do not add anything extra from his side. Since the previous refusals were on the grounds of the ingenuity of the employer in UK and not on the basis of providing incomplete information about you being there, it should not matter much.
