I think as per rules we can apply only atmost 5 weeks before the Visa expiry date
In Guidancee notes it has been stated that we can apply atmost 5 weeks before the current HSMP expires and in any case before the expiry date of current visa.
If I can apply now for the Visa which is going to expire on December of this year, then it is a real pleasant surpise to me.
I can understand that we can apply anytime for initial HSMP, But I dont think that is the case for extension..
Experts pls confirm

My suggestion, you should try becuase you have nothing to loose but you should anticipate if they reject to award you the point on age. You have to try this, as you have nothing to loose.
Indeed the guidance really say 5 weeks is the earliest, but in the past a lot of people submit it 2 months in advance and it is accepted, BUT you need to understand that in the past no points is awarded for age, so in this case you submit 5-8 weeks make no difference at all.
SInce the new system is introduce age is now very important and therefore, the submission date will count. I think the general rule is that if they see that it does not make any different if you submit 8 weeks or 5 weeks, they will accept it. But if they see that you submit earlier than 5 weeks becuase you want earn more from your age, they will be very strict abiout 5 weeks rule.

You can't apply in Croydon.SYH wrote:Go for premium service
I was only asking if it was an option.hari15 wrote:Dear SYH,SYH wrote:SYH wrote:Go for premium service
Premium service is there only for WorkPermits and not for HSMP as per my knowledge. I saw many sites regarding this.
Can you pls give the link on where you found details for premium service for HSMP
Many thanks

But my only worry is, For extension, will the consider date of submission for age or will they consider date of expiry of Visa for age?
