HSMP extension- documentation

Post by baskey » Tue Jan 11, 2005 2:59 pm

Hi,

My initial one year period is going to end by 30 th april and i have few questions on documentation.

Could any one clarify please.

1. Can i send my application 2.5 months in advance instead of 2 months? In that case i could show only 4 salary slips on a whole as first 4.5 month , i was jobless.

2. Is it a must to attach tenancy agreement. I have shared a room along with my friend for initial 5 months and now also sharing a room with different address. So should i send a tenancy agreement of both the houses? Both of my friends will give a tenancy agreement, if it is a must.

3. Is 4000 - 5000 K bank balance is sufficient? Can i attach a printed statment from online account or it is better to attach a paper statement from bank? ( Because i will get paper statement on request only)

4. I have about 1500 K in my account in Germany. Should i attach that as well..

5. My wife is still working in Germany , should i state that as my additional source of income or Will it get back fire as she has not yet relocated yet..

6. I have old 4 BT telephone bills on my name. Should i attach that as well.

7. I have only debit card not credit card. The other options is attaching postal order or bank cheque. Which one is to opt or better?

I am sorry to be more specific in questioning. Hope it may help others as well.

Thanks

Regards,

Baskey.

OH .... MY ... GOD !!!!!

u r scaring me .... let me share why i'm scared one by one ...

1- I have not attached any tenancy agreement with my application ... i just attached a letter from my land lady stating that i'm renting a room in her house.

2- 4000 - 5000 K bank statement :? i only had a 2K bank statement ... so if u are worried abt your one then i'm doomed.

3- I didn't had any bills on my name ... so submitted nothing ...

and for your queries baskey ... I just submitted my application so can't reply if what i did was right or wrong ... but i did the payment through postal orders ... and if i were u i'd wait to get atleast one more salary slip. (besides ... that'll also increase your bank statement number ... )

so i'll be watching this thread carefully in near future to get over the panick attack i'm having after reading baskey's documentation suggestions. I can't do anything anyway cuz its already gone

Hi Ayesha Khan,

I am generally so careful in dealing with Home office guys on the safer side. I know they only see what is on the papers. I am also little worried as my wife still not joined me. Of course, there are no previous rejections based on wife joining. But it ia always advisable to attach as much as possible. Also see some times back checkmate attached nearly all the bills except some from TESCO/Aldi..... :) :) That gave me a good feel about documentation. But nevertheless dont be panic as long as u r on the job now.

REgards,

Baskey
