Hsmp extension 6 months no reply

Hi, my father had applied for hsmp extension about 6 month ago (17 May 2010).Can anybody please tell me why the process takes so much time .. my father called them but they say your case is under process ... can u guys tell me what my father to do ....???

Unfortunately, only UKBA or the caseworker assessing the application can answer why an application is taking so long.

He may complain to UKBA, or get local MP invloved to help expedite the process.
