Post by manuce » Sun Oct 30, 2011 6:10 pm

Hello ,

Posting this on behalf of a friend.

He is due for his extension in November, on his payslip its says pay method as cash but his employer gives him cheque that he transfers in the account, is that going to be problem when he send his papers for extension.

You need two forms of evidence of earnings, payslips is fine. Normally for salaried employment you use bank statements as a second proof of income, does your friend normally deposit cheques into a bank account after receiving? If so then yes, fine. If not then you'll need to find another way to prove the cheques were received in the amount (net) shown on the payslips.
