HSMP Income proof

Post by ramankumar2008 » Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:50 pm

Hello,

I am in UK on work permit from last 3.5 years. I have been paid Daily allowance and accomodation. My India company is not providing me any proof for reimbursement done against accomodation. Forttunately I have my proper UK Income tax return showing my total Income earned in UK and Bank statement showing money received in that year (no proof on monthly salary in Bank statement). Would this be sufficient as Income proof or do I definately require monthly details.

Appreciate your help.

1. UK Tax document (or tax document frm any country) will be of use to you only if your income period (for which you are going to claim points) exactly mirrors the tax assessment period. If not, then tax document is of not use at all.

2. Is the money paid to you (in UK) on yearly basis or monthly basis? Either way, you will need to provide bank statements which show actual credit entries into your account.

Thanks for this information. This means

1> I need to apply on the ground of 1st Apill 31st March 2008 as this would be the tax assesment period and as we need to select 12 months out of current 15 months, so I need to apply with in 6 days only which is definately not possible.

2> Actual credit entries are well in place, only thing is that it is not monthly, soem time credit has been made for 2-3 months together and then nothing for next 2 months. Would this be problem?

1. A definite YES.
2. A highly likely (leaning to definite) YES.
