HSMP rejected. Is different exp. certificate objectionable?

Post by vijayb » Sun Nov 13, 2005 4:18 pm

My HSMP application was rejected. (Total=50 points. 25: qualification + 25: Work experience)
I have over 22 years work experience. But I got only 25 point for my work experience although I deserve 50 points due to my Senior level experience.
I am applying to HSMP again by submitting fresh application with additional information on my work experience to score qualifying points.

I would like know if additional information from my previous employer about my work experience issued on "different" letter head format of company than the one which was previously issued will be objectionable to HSMP team. I am worried that they may check this up with my earlier application.

Can you explain this? What has happened? Your former employer has changed its name? Or what?

If it is a mere change of company name then evidence of that .... a copy of the "Companies House" record of the change of name .... would obviously help.

The company has changed only it's letter head format. Name of company has not changed.
Since my earlier experience letter was not complete as per HSMP requirement , I had requested them to give additional work experience certificate giving additional information to previous one.
This additional information has come on different letter head format.
Is it okay if I submit this in addtion to old work experience certificate?
Please advise.

I really cannot think that change will cause any problem. After all, companies do change their logos and/or letterheads from time to time. So no need for you to worry.

Agree with John, it should not be a problem.

When my HSMP application was processed I submitted 2 documents from one of the companies I worked for. The second document was on a different letter head from the first one and I did not have any problems because of that.

Also remember that in case they do have any problems with your documents, they could pontentially get it confirmed by contacting your employer. The letterheads in any case have contact details of your employers.
