HSMP Tier 1 General Extension from outside of U.K

Hi,

I had HSMP Tier 1 General Visa which is valid from May 2009 to April 2012.
Unfortunately I haven't been to U.K yet. Im still in India.

Is it possible to apply for an extension to my Tier1 visa in March 2012, provided that I qualify for the extension.

If I do so, will it be approved ?
Are there any similar cases earlier ?

Please advise me.

You cannot apply for a Tier 1 (general) extension from outside the UK.

Is there any minimum duration for the employment in U.K for applying for Tier 1 General Extension ? means if I work only for 4 months in U.K and after that is it possible to apply for Extension with 4 months of U.K experience and 8 months of Indian Experience provided that I get required points?

"Experience" is not an eligibility criteria for Tier 1 (General) leave to remain.

Somehow I am confused.

That means can I apply for Extension if have required points even after working for only 4 months in U.K?
