HSMP to Tier 2 (General)

I am working as a web developer with one of the religious organization which is registered in the UK as Charity Organization. My HSMP visa is expiring in Feb 2010. I am not in position to extend my HSMP visa bcoz of last year earning. My employer also want me to continue my work here. Initially I have one question regarding this:

1. My employer want to get sponsor license (CoS) but they are religious organization and my job with them is professional not religious. In which category/sector should they apply?
