HSMP under JR apply for PR, HELP needed!!! many thanks!

Post by lindacoventry » Thu Jul 02, 2009 10:34 pm

My initial HSMP has been approved in Feb 2005, had two extension 1+3+3, and going to apply for PR soon, do need help to clarify the documnets i need for PR application. my situation is:

Me +my husband + my son
2005-2006 P60
2006-2007 Manternity leave and no return to work, no P60
2007-2008 Self-employed, Sole Trader, Tax return [/b
2008-2009 Self-employed, Sole Trader, Tax return/

i can provide the following documents:

1. 2006 P60
2. 2008 Tax return / 3000 pounds profit
3. 2009 Tax return / 7500 pounds profit
4. 12 months business bank statment (4000 pounds balance)
5. 6 months personal bank statement(3000 pounds balance)
6. accountant letter to confirm the turnover between april 2009 till today.

A) Do you think the above documents are enough? is my profit too low for whole family PR application?

B) I just had part time job from last months, but the salary is low about 800pounds per month before tax, net income about 600 pounds, do you think it is more supportive to provide this payslip as well, or just provide documents related to business.

C) 2006-2007 one year gap for maternity leave, is it okay?( as woman's right)

I am desperate to wait for your reply and help!!

Many many thanks

do a search for 'self-employed ILR' as there were just two threads about this. you can look at their document list. I think they gave more than just the tax return.

As for maternity leave, no problems with that as long as you are working NOW at time of ILR application. I would include all payslips (including that of the part time job).

Good luck.
