HSMP - 2 years ????????

HSMP - 2 years ????????

My HSMP Visa stamp says: Valid Till - 30/March/2006
I applied from the Bangalore VFS.
Ajay who applied from the Bangalore VFS too got two years. Again my friend who got EC 3 weeks ago got it for two years.

I know we've had this discussion earlier and concluded that it could be a mistake. Now with 3 cases, I am not too sure. Have the rules changed??

Yep,

Confusion reigns in the immigration system at the moment , no wonder the immigration Minister resigned-

HSMP is 1 (ONE) year initially...

Are we seeing yet another practice at the local/ operational level that Senior Foreign and Commonwealth (whose remit ECO's fall under) as well as Home Office officials to ministerial level are not aware of - perhaps something I can run to the tabloids with and get a huge fee. I can then send respond to posts from Antigua 8) .
