Husband and wife Live Seperate

Hi,

Me and my wife live together, due to some resins i have to move out, but we not divorced, we having child benefit and working tax credit,together v.less my wife is not working, and i am paying every thing,

can my BC wife apply for housing benefit and separate. also working and child. as well.

You may be entitled to apply as a separate person.

Your wife may get Child Tax Credit if she looks after the children, but not working tax credit.

She can apply for Income Support, Council Tax discount, and tax credit
