ICT T2ST Dependent visa and ICT T2ST to T2G

Hi,

Currently I am having both ICT Tier 2 Dependent visa and ICT Tier 2 short term visa. My dependent visa expires in 28th July 2014 and my ICT Tier 2 short term expires in Jan 2015. If i resign from my current company and i get a sponsorship from another company now, can i go back to my country and apply for Tier 2 General? Also, will i have to serve the cooling off period as well?

IMHO if you applied for T2 ICT ST leave at the time when you had PBS dependant leave the former would have overwritten the latter, i.e. now you only have T2 ICT ST leave. Under the circumstances if you wish to change sponsor and apply for T2G entry clearance you would only be able to do so after the end of the 12 month cooling-off period.
