ICT Tier 2 Hosrt term Dependent and NHS Service

Post by aspirant910 » Thu Aug 14, 2014 8:20 am

Hi ,
I am in UK since April-2014 on ICT tier 2 short term visa . My wife is planning to come ICT tier 2 dependent visa in this month i.e August. She is 6 month pregnant and have due date in November .
Please let me know will she be eligible to get the maternity treatment free of cost from NHS and in case not , how much will be the cost incurred in this case.

Thanks.

It would be a brave person who would claim to know the workings of UKVI & NHS.

Have a look at this link

Really sorry but I really don't have experience ,hard charging in the NHS is not new but the rules are being enforced more rigorously due to recent legislation changes.
I suggest you talk to your local NHS hospital and get their view.
Ask for the overseas visitor manager they will tell you what you need to know.
