I have made my application by PEO yesterday for an extension of my student visa. I am currently studying Bsc Nursing at a highly trusted university. I have two more months left to finish the course, no more study days left and just one more assignment to submit. Last January, I have received a decision letter from the nursing council advising me to undergo an Overseas Nursing Programme. This March, I have secured a place on a different University for the said programme. Confident that I have all the requirements in place, I pursued my application. I have no problems with maintenance funds, nor the CAS. However, the case worker found out that my IELTS has expired last Feb so she opted to have my application on hold for further enquiries. Is there a possibility that my Visa application will be denied because of an expired IELTS? I have explained to the case worker that I would not have secured a decision letter in the first place without a valid IELTs. I have also phone the University and they said that they do not have any problems with me having an expired Ielts for as long as the NMc decision letter is valid. However, they have placed in my Cas as part of my assessment that I have a valid decision letter which was obviously not the case. Help me please, I need some advise. Thank you all.
