IELTS for Dependants - If planning to pursue research

Post by antony » Mon Jul 23, 2007 10:36 am

Hi Experts,

Need a piece of advice from you guys.

I am on HSMP visa valid for 2 years. My spouse will join me at later point of time. My spouse is a master degree holder and planning to pursue her research in chemistry.

Need some information on this:
1) Does she really need to undergo IELTS score? If so what type of exam Academic or General?
2) She has completed master degree (M.Phil) in 2003.
3) Having a lecturer experience in a science college till sep 2006.

Any pointers would be of great help.

Thanks
Antony

Anthony

I have answer your question in other thread.
The decision whether she needs IELTS or not ientirely depends on the Universities. This is part of Admission Process.

SOme universities might waive the IELTS requirement some aren't.

Hope this help.
