Hello!! I am planning to apply for a fiance visa very soon from Russia and I have taken the IELTS exam as my english language proof. I got a band 9 in listening and speaking and picked up my certificate the other day. I decided to re-check the list of possible tests you can take and noticed something that has worried me...in the "documents required for application" sections for the Ielts exam it says :
For tests taken on or after 6
April 2013: no documents
required (Scores must be
verified using the Cambridge
English online system using
name, date of birth and
passport number)
What does that mean?? I asked the people at my local IELTS office and they say they don't know anything about it!! How do I verify my scores using the Cambridge English online system?? Do I have to print something off of a website?? Will my application get rejected if I just provide my certificate??
