IGS to PSW from outside UK

Post by ifhar » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:49 pm

hello :)

I understand from other posts here that IGS cannot be converted to PSW from outside the UK. (why is that anyway?...)

my IGS is expiring at the end of August, and I had to stay in Israel instead of making use of it. what are my options for switching to PSW? will they let me do this over summer if I travel to the UK for a few weeks even though I haven't made use of my IGS so far? (I have enough funds etc.)

Ideally I would like to make sure I can do the switch before I travel, and know how much time I can expect it to take.

Many thanks,

S.

thanks for that.

my IGS is expiring 25/8
if I arrive in Britain mid-July do I have a good chance of applying successfully? any chance they might say I can't extend since I haven't been using my IGS to live in the UK?
