IGS to Tier1 GHSMP:

Dear All,
I completed my masters in Computer Science from University of Bedfordshire-UK last July,2007 and waiting for the graduation ceremony 3rd april, 2008. Now i am holding IGS (International Graduate Scheme) categories visa and my visa will be expires 10th October,2008. I am working in a company as a Business Intelligence Consultant and yearly salary structure is good enough for earning points. Before coming to UK i was working in US company in Bangladesh (homeland) and salary was too good (30 points based on band). I have few questions. It will be great if anyone can give me honest answer.

1. I know i can switch from IGS to Tier 1 anytime, but my question is can i show them my previous salary (will be getting more points) as earning before my studies. One solicitor told me that, if i am on IGS then i have to show my recent UK salary, not before student one.

2. I can provide like 21k(UK) with my 9 payslips but need to wait for 1st week of may,08.

3. My university is recognized by HomeOffice site and based on that i am qualify for english requirements.

4. i am also qualify for maintanance.


Please give me a sugession like, do i need to wait for UK earnings point or can i apply now with Previous earnings.
