Hello,
My partner and I are really struggling to understand how to fill in the details required to pay his IHS fee. For context, he is applying to join me in the UK on a spouse visa, and I have Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
From Gov.UK - You’ll need the same information that you used to pay for:
- any person applying for a visa or other immigration application with you, for example a dependant
- any person you’re applying to join or remain who is already in the UK (you do not need to add this person’s details if they are a UK or EEA citizen)
You’ll also need their leave expiry date if you’re joining someone in the UK (or IHS reference number if they have one).
https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... cation/pay
But on the IHS payment site, it only says he doesn't need to provide details if the person he is joining is a UK citizen (which I'm not). Then it asks for the expiry date of my visa (which I don't have) and asks him to select which visa type I have. If we enter the expiry date of my BRP card we find that ILR is not an option for a visa type, but settlement is and then a further subcategory of wife. But that seems to imply that I am on a spouse visa myself.
What should we be doing in this case? Am I considered as having a visa or being a pseudo-citizen?
Thanks for your help
