Hello,i have friend in UK hwo came here in 2001 from Turkey and apply for asylum seekers,the HO declined asylum application,after he applied for Ankara agreement it like business visa i suppose,it took him about 5 years to wait desicion,but he still worked payed his tax and had his own business.he wrote to MP to asked them chase behalf of him and finally got his answer that HE HAS TO LIVE UK.he has his partner here and small baby he decided to stay illigal, solisitors says that is not chance to appeal he must go home.but hi is already living here 8 years and he does not have home somewhere else, here is his home and family and work.his partner friend of mine and she asked me what to do she is not working looking after their small child,only him supporting his family without taking any benefit.and she is worry if they will catch him one day and send him back what she and their little one will do?i know that they even dont take any child benefit and they dont want any benefits,all what they want to RESIDE IN UK and live normall life.please help with advise what to do?kindly regards. P.S.the friend of mine from Russia and she has student visa.

Can really see any way out, unless he applies as his partners student dependent, but as it doesn't seem like she's actually studying that's a closed door too.

Everyone is illegal with no grounds to stay, maybe they should just move to Turkey? Sometimes you can't have what you want.

they apply for certificate in approval,to get married in UK but was also decclined.He has bussines and paying his taxes i saw programm Panorama about illigal immigrants they was talking about to give all illigal right to stay here but not sure they decide give rights to reside or it just planning?and also i read somewhere if u are been here 10 or 14 years lligaly or illigally u have chance to get ILR,am i right?thanks.

There's no likelihood of an amnesty, infact, UK gov is pouring more money into catching illegals on the street, almost like a new police force, watch UK Border Force on telly.

The taxes he's paid doesn't get over the fact he's here illegally, they might just about cover his removal costs.

Ten years ILR is for all legal stay. 14 years is any stay but as he's already been told to leave this clock will have stopped so no angle there.
