ILR Absence

Post by pradpnayak88 » Wed Sep 06, 2023 1:11 am

Since I am eligible for ILR, I exceeded 180 days during the pandemic. There were flight cancellations and I was also Covid +ve. However, my organization allowed me to work from home till the situation was stable and the travelling was safe.

I understand I need to prove my +ve Covid and travel disruption. But do i need to get a letter from my organization that i was allowed to work from Home?

The decision on considering why you went over the limit is at HO's discretion. Therefore any and everything to help plead your case for positive outcome should be used.

This is up to UKVI. Travel to the UK was largely possible, though there were testing or quarantine requirements in place. I'd say you need to prove that travel was impossible for you and not simply inconvenient.
