ILR MINIMUM SALARY

Post by Mysoul » Fri Sep 09, 2022 8:29 pm

Good evening

Am planning to apply for my ilr through skill worker route next week and I urgently need your help. My job code is 2135 iT Business analyst at annual going rate of £36,600

Considering that my salary was increased from £36,000 to £37,000 in June 2022, which is less than six months. Can I still go ahead to make my application even if have not earn the new pay for six months?

HR department claimed they forgot to inform the HM about the salary increase but promised to inform them on Monday. Though the increment reflected on the HMRC portal. My employer has given me all the necessary letter to apply with but am confused.

My job role is under shortage occupage list, Does it gives me any leverage to apply now?

Thanks

To expand on @Zimba's post above

For your ILR application there are 2 requirements as regards salary:
1
The sponsor must confirm in a letter that they still require you to work for them for the foreseeable future, and that you are being paid, and will be paid for the foreseeable future, at least the going rate for your SOC code.
2
You only need to submit the last payslip you had prior to the application together with a bank statement confirming that it had been paid into your account.

BTW your sponsor doesn't have to report to the HO the £1k pay increase you had in June.

ILR, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED

Post by Mysoul » Fri Sep 16, 2022 6:44 pm

Hello,
I went for my biometric yesterday for super priority service 11:30am. I got a mail from UKVI by 2pm that my employer should confirm how many hours per week I will be required for at work and a reply was sent back by 4pm to the UKVI.

Please do you have an idea of how long it might take to get a decision on my application? Because I need to travel back home at the end of the month .

Thanks

No one can tell you this even as guess, can only hope that since application is being attended to on SPV and your reply was quick too that it gets sorted fast. Only hope, cam not guarantee
