Ilr after travel documents

Hi.
My 5 year travel documents (refugee) are expiring by the end of this month. I was wondering if anyone can guide me through the process of applying for the visa. Should I be applying for the ILR, or extension of the travel documents.
Which visa application form should i be filling.
Any useful information will be highly appriciated.
