ILR and driving disqualification

Post by rrrreynes » Tue Jul 30, 2024 10:33 pm

Hi my husband is due for ILR application now and unfortunately committed a driving offence. He will for sure be disqualified from driving and we are just awaiting court summons. Has anyone knew of ILR refusal due to the above?
He currently has 6 penalty points from speeding and a lisence revocation. His current dependent visa is only til Feb 2025. I am british and we have a baby. Im scared his will be refused due to disqualification and repeat offender. Pls kindly help.

The application will be held until the court verdict is known.
Non-custodial sentences do NOT lead to mandatory refusal. Refusal is discretionary and other factors are taken into consideration.
